Jules Jurgenson Brass Ladies Watch Vintage 17-Jewel Swiss Mechanical Runs Great box 2Here's a nice older classic luxury ladies watch by Jules Jurgenson. The watch is brass in color-- it's a darker gold tone. Jules Jurgenson-- they are a world-renowned Swiss watch maker since 1740. They have been around a very long time! They make some of the nicest dependable watches and this here is a 17-jewel mechanical wind-up movement that runs exquisitely-- it is very accurate and extremely well made. This is from the 1970's and still looks and runs great. It's a satin finish brassy color gold-tone metal cross-pattern throughout. The dial is a gorgeous easy to read teaked pinstripe type pattern in nice yellow gold with stick indexes that looks nice and is easy on the eyes. If you appreciate the older precision mechanical watches from a better quality era, then consider this fine watch. As previously stated, it runs great and is quite accurate. keep in mind, however, that all mechanical watches need adjustment from time to time. No battery is ever required! But, if you are not willing to hand-wind and possibly do minor adjustments daily, then buy a quartz watch. I have really come to appreciate the older mechanical watches, because number one, I am from that era, and I acknowledge the excellent mechanical engineering that goes into these older movements, especially the Swiss masterpieces that exist. This watch has been serviced and oiled and cleaned, and it is ready to go. It's another fine watch by a really good maker from a bygone era that will continue to serve far into the future.
